At the start of filming 'Brian the Champ' lead the beertickers with over 38,000 different ales.

He’s a confident character, relentless in his quest to tick. His slight advantage is that he lives in Sheffield, a city noted for its real ale production. But Brian is methodical and relentless in his pursuit of new beers.

He's outwardly modest about his status as 'Champ', but secretly proud to be top of the pile. He’s even attempting to ‘get technological’, struggling with a new PDA (he calls it his iPaq) to record his latest ticks!

Brian the Champ has been beerticking for almost 30 years, he doesn't have a beard, a cardigan but he does have a notepad and a bag to carry all the beers he acquires through 'bottling'!
