The 'number two' beerticker, Mick is the classic real aler - the living stereotype. His exploits have been attracting local media coverage for years. With over 32,000 ticks, his stories of beer go back to the 1970s and he's even been quoted as having spent over £40,000 of booze.

An unashamed old-timer, he lives for beerticking. He carries a magnifying glass and pocket telescope to read the beer pumps and the notes in his ticking book.
